I do go into the office. I didn’t stay long as it’s too overwhelming In the last year There have been few visitors. I get requests for research online. My fear is that when I am gone. someone will bring in a dumpster and throw it all away. I have made arrangements to transfer most of our materials to the Iowa State Genealogical in Des Moines. As of March 30th, all materials have been transferred to Des Moines. Cris and Dennis have taken it all to Des Moines. They have the resources to care for those items. Our new focus will be scanning and uploading materials. For those of you who ask why. No one has physically shown up in years. Now I am comforted in knowing those materials will be cared for. Scanning events will be announced. Susan
