Our March business meeting will be held Monday, March 5th at 1 pm in our office at the Fort Dodge Public Library. There will be no program this time.

We had a great meeting today. Janet Hubbell came to speak about recording your memories. She showed us this book she made about her parents and projects documenting her family history.

Due to the weather, tomorrows meeting is being rescheduled. The meeting will be held on Monday, Feb 12 at 1 pm.

The meeting will be held at 1:00 pm. We will be discussing arrangements for the speaker on April 20, 2018. The speaker is Dave Baker from the Facebook Page, The 29th State. He will be speaking about Ghost Towns of the Past; communites of today. This is a free event. It will be held at the Fort Dodge Public Library. We will be celebrating our 41st Anniversary. Monday, March 12, 2018, Eowyn Langholf will be speaking about wikitree and collaborative genealogy. She will speak for about an hour and then will answer questions and assist you in signing up for wikitree. You may bring your laptop.The event will be at the Fort Dodge Public Library and is free.

This is Cris Nagle and Dennis Allen. They were here in September and gave a class on Cemetery Mapping with Excel. They came back on October 16, and gave a class on Photo Restoration using Paint 3D. They will be back this year with new topics.

We had a good meeting on January 8th. Pastor David Grindberg from St Olaf Lutheran Church here in Fort Dodge spoke about his trip to Norway. It was very good. He shared a lot of personal stories and insight.
